Ron DeVall

Partner, Broker

An experienced Real Estate sales and marketing professional. He successfully builds and coaches award-winning real estate teams while providing complete investment, financial management, and estate services. His quiet confidence instills trust. His high ethical standards and comfortable leadership style breed loyalty.

As a motivator and problem-solver, Ron helps his clients acquire and dispose of business opportunities throughout Southern California. Ron represents buyers and sellers when improving revenues, capitalizing inventories, evaluating a business, and building strategic partnerships. He’s the past Chairman of the Business Opportunities Group and a member of the Southland Regional Association of Realtors®.

Ron demonstrates his long-term stability when administering the Film Producers' well-defined pension benefit and contribution plan while recommending investment and planning for its strategic merger and acquisitions. After his careful management, the pension plan’s expansion is up more than thirty percent.

Appointed by former Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley to the Los Angeles Film Development Council, Ron managed the Film Craftsman Association’s ongoing and daily business affairs. He served the association as a trustee, investment advisor, contract negotiator, and mediator, Ron created efficiencies and reduced operating expenditures while maintaining its full range of services to the organization.

Hans Mangelsdorf

Partner, Board Member, Advisory Board Member

Began his professional career with Ashwill-Burke, a commercial real estate developer. Later he joined Wells Fargo Bank’s entertainment group. Then, moving to American Savings, in just a few months he was promoted to American’s real estate management team. There, he helped re-engineer American’s real estate operations. A skilled problem-solver, Mangelsdorf managed the Thrift’s special assets, asset management, and record-setting REO sales.

As one of the first to join the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), Mangelsdorf became a U.S. Congressionally appointed receiver, stationed in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Newport Beach, and Washington, D.C. While on detail to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, Mangelsdorf helped RTC establish itself, achieve its record-setting goals, and then sail into its timely sunset.

Together with Walt Disney’s Chief Imagineer and KPMG's Managing Partner, Mangelsdorf opened Imersiv, a theme park company. They merged into the Auburn Companies, which includes Auburn Financial, Auburn Business Brokers, and Auburn Properties, all real estate service venues.

Today, Hans Mangelsdorf has acquired, designed, financed, built, renovated, managed, restructured, leased, and disposed of more than 40,000 assets worth some $400 billion. With his high ethical standards, confidence gained from real-life experience, and ability to make tough decisions, Mangelsdorf provides insight and value to clients located around the world.
